Warm BED, cool pillow. That's why your head sticks out of the covers. God intended it to be that way. |

You know, they had bed warmers in the olden days. You filled them with coals and ran it under the sheets to warm up the bed.
I imagine a quick once over with an iron would do the same thing today. No need to have a low-paid fleecy pajama hotel employee in your bed.

Yeah that picture and the whole concept is super creepy. I can't imagine requesting a stranger to come lay in my bed. Are they instructed not to fart?
You can also use a hair dryer to warm up your bed.
(and your pillow) |

i was getting into bed last night and was thinking about the gross bed warmer people.
I live in Canada, one of the coldest climates in the world, and it's February and....cool bed, cold pillow, one lightweight duvet and a tshirt. You people are nuts. |

A duvet is like a comforter. It usually has a removable cover so you can wash it without washing the whole thing. |

Do Americans not have duvets??? Oh man!
Ok so am I the only freak that lives in a moderate temperate country and wear fleecy pjs and bed socks to bed - and like a warm bed, a warm pillow and snuggle under the covers until I heat up. (only then can my head be half out in the open).
YIKES!
I have even been known to climb into bed with dressing gown on too.
Ok so I am a freak for heat! |

Of course we have duvets in the US. Just not at Ric's house, I guess. I think he's more the quilt type. |
