IMO, The Man Who is the best album because it just works. I don't know how or why, but some songs or albums have an aura of greatness - from the obviously brilliant first chords of WTRY through to the last acoustic chimes of Slideshow and raw BFL - with emotions that touch everyone and a perfect tracklist (I don't really like Last Laugh on it's own but it is perfect to bring the album down slightly before Turn launches it sky-high. Driftwood / Turn / WDIAROM ? No thanks, but with Last Laugh... oooh, seriously good!). Anyway...:

This is so difficult :S I just bought The Man Who and can't stop listening to it :D Right now my top 3 of that album must be

2. Writing To Reach You
3. The Last Laugh Of The Laughter

ooh i havent voted yet! hmm ok...
1. definitely turn is my first favourite, as my first travis song and still one of my all-time faves....
2. Writing to reach you is a close second, also an all-time fave definitely..
3. really tough call between as you are and slide show....... gonna have to say Slide show i think, i tend to get it stuck in my head it more, plus it's got more plays in my itunes :) |
