yes, exactly like that.

Ric, i forgot to tell you. I actually watched TMZ for about the 3rd time ever last week and they asked Martin Short if "he celebrated some sort of Canadian Christmas holiday," or something like that.

Love the topic *lol*
I was so confused about the whole "pudding" issue when I first went to the UK.
Hm, I read the word "pudding" derives from a french word for ...err, well, "black pudding/black sausage", so I guess the "salty meaning" is the original one ;) err, and I thiiink I also read that - in "chef language" - you could say "blancmange" in "European English"??

To all Americans and Canadians: you'd have no difficulties with getting a real "pudding" over here, same word, same spelling, same thing ;D, no confusion. (though you could also say "Flammeri" and hope you won't get served fried semolina pudding *lol*)

(the macaroni & cheese thing does always sound so strange to me. never tried it, is it really edible? ;P)

the real stuff of Kraft Dinner? If you have never had the real stuff I feel bad for you. Pasta covered in melty cheese saucy goodness. I will make it for you when we are spinsters. You have a lot to look foward to, my friend.

As someone has already said it's called Cheesey Pasta in the UK and when I was back in the ol' country it was my staple diet for about two years. It's really versatile too, all you do is fuck in some tomatoes or Ham or chicken or spices and it tastes completely different !!

When the Barenaked Ladies played T in the Park a few years back the mentioned it and brought a packet onstage then proceeded to inform us Scots we make it differently from the rest of the world "You make it the same right up until it's nearly ready and then deep fry the fuck out of it!!" I belive he said. This however is untrue but I would be surprised if someone hasn't since tried it !!!

the real stuff! I've never had the real stuff (and I'd never even heard of a thing called "Kraft Dinner" so I haven't had that, either). I think people here just don't eat it, even though we know it exists (thanks to movies & tv).
but if it's THAT good, I really can't wait to start the spinster life!

I agree with everything you said. Includding the spinster part, I'll probably be one too, but I'll die young :oP.

ive heard them say in interviews that they regret putting it in the song because they get pelted with boxes of it onstage and it has actually caused injuries.

They should have a rule that if you are going to throw pasta, it must be removed from the box and boiled first.
