I'm not going into this discussion, but can you wear black at a wedding? Maybe I'm a bit old fashion ;) And I know it isn't her wedding :P Now I'm out of here, hehe!
Edit: Okey I remember seeing some girls wearing black dresses with white dots and some other stuff, but not just black.... |

you can wear black to a wedding. Especially if it is a little black dress. You shouldnt be in like a long sleeve floor length black velvet dress that looks like you are mouring someone in the 18th century, but black is perfectly acceptable. |

Really? Well I haven't been at so many weddings, so what do I know? ;) The only thing I know is that you shouldn't compete with the bride, so maybe a black dress is the way to go =) If the bride's not very gothic or something, that is :P |

right, you shouldnt wear head to toe white.
Bad form. Especially if the person is prettier than the bride. |

There is no wedding. It is a reception only. The wedding took place last month, out of town.
Kristy, here are my special occasion purses:
The one on the left is metal with scrolly stuff and polished stones. |

I'll never get married that's for sure.
I hate wearing a costume and I'd probably have to play something for the bride... I would sweat like I was in hell and eventually faint.. |

A costume? It's not Halloween. You could just wear a suit. You don't have to play anything, you hire people for that. Get married in winter and you won't sweat. Keep your knees relaxed and you won't faint.
Now it's all settled. |

I remember watching one of those cheesy wedding shows a few years ago, and then bride sent her hubby to be socks on the wedding date that said "in case you get cold feet."

Kayte, I think:
1. too casual for a wedding
2. Yes, it's conservative, but you could spice it up with red heels or some cute jewelry.
3. Really cute! Actually, you could do cute red heels with this or #4 too. I think this is my fav. out of the 4.
4. This one is cute too! I like the shape of this one. It's fun, and flowy. |

I agree #1 is too casual for the occasion, but I think it's WAY cool.
There seems to be a lot of classic shapes coming back, like Hollywood classic movie styles. |

it's mod, Ric would love it
It would be cute in the summer with some sandels...or in the not summer with some slouchy boots. |

Yeah, #2 reminds me of Jackie-O. I like that those classic styles are coming back. So pretty... |

I just read this. Only a Canadian could write it:
Handbags are to fashion what gravy is to poutine a.k.a. a key ingredient. Any woman with a stylish soul has a different purse for every occasion and a closet stuffed with luscious clutches
haha, comparing poutine to purses. Nice.
Clutches, you are thine weakness.
And shoes. pretty and impractical shoes. |

Number 4 all the way. That dress is really cute. The little black dress never fails, and like the girls said, you can dress it up with pretty jewelry. Plus, wrap dresses are always slimming. (not that you need it) :)
