One day they will all have milk bags and be able to thank their friends to the north for the joy we have provided.

Everyone will string empty milk bags together to make garland. And bow down before pictures of cows.

No Ric, it would be the day before Remembrance Day!

Milk came in bags in Finland around 1960's, maybe still in the 70's, but now it comes in cartons.
Milk bags were a popular craft ingredient, people crocheted rugs out of them.

thats kinda cool . they had to be washed first right ?

Yes, I believe they were rinsed first. I think there were only single 1 l bags for sale then. Now our milk comes in 0,5 l, 1 l and 1,5 l cartons, oh, and there are some restaurant/bar poritons, a plastic mug with a cover ( a bit like yoghurt, or cream in Germany or UK) and a tiny carton, about 0,2 l each.

Paul Gross. Who I LOVE in Slings and Arrows.

Ive heard mixed things about the movie. I heard people complaining that he is so clean and pretty despite being in the trenches. And there was apparently some religious element that annoyed one of my friends.

Did i tell you that I once went to a Heritage Minute viewing party? My friend worked for Historica so she has them all on DVD. We ate donuts covered in ice cream and maple syrup and drank Canadian beer. It was...and interesting mix to say the least.

yeah to be honest, It was pretty lovey dovey, and Paul Grosses teeth were FAR too white, and the kid who was in it really got on my nerves. But Its worth a see. its just so foreign to see a movie where Canada is the focus, rather than the US, it felt more like a CBC tv movie...but it was good otherwise!
