It is dull. It is repetitive. It isn't interesting at all. I think it is one of the worst Travis album tracks. At least 25 b-sides are better than Get Up. Quite Free sounds beautiful. Fran's voice is amazing and it takes you on a jouney from one moment to the next. It is the best Travis song since The Invisible Band.

Oh, i feel terrible when i say something bad about a Travis song, especially when my hero Fran reads the board. I like to be honest because then it gives the positives more weight. If you get what i mean. And Travis have plenty of positives going for them. :)

BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

:P Just kidding, Ben.

See, you love "Quite Free"...and you talk about it as if it's the greatest song ever. I like it a lot, but it's not my favorite. I even think I like "Get Up" better than "Quite Free." It is really funny how different people's taste in music can be.

I could name 25 better b-sides right now if you want! ;) No, it isn't the greatest song ever. It is my favourite Travis song since The Invisible Band. I know! I find it actually quite scary that a fellow Travis fan likes Get Up more than Quite Free. THAT is weird. ;) lol But then again, some people don't like Used To Belong. Different opinions on individual songs by a band we all love! Strange really, in a way.

I suppose you have to have a link with a song ... perhaps Ben find's it easy to get up in the morning! lol The song makes me smile cause years ago I hated getting up in the morning and my dad would come through with a cold flannel!!! lol So I guess the song has a bit of a hidden meaning for me ;o)

Dads! Mine used to turn on the lights, open the window and pull my duvet off. When I lived on my own I had three alarm clocks, one of which was so far that I had to get up to turn it off.

Still, Get Up is my least favourite song of the album, but it works well in the entity.

No, I'm the worst person in the world at getting up. I just find the song repetitive and a bit boring. It's not a bad song but compared to other Travis songs it isn't very good. And it's easily my 11th favourite on the album. I really love all the others, especially the 6 I named earlier. :)
