I think Get Up is starting to appeal too.
The beat in the chorus is addictive. |

I "get" Ode To J Smith, but it just pales next to The Boy With No Name for me personally.
If anything some of the songs on Ode are too raw (Long Way Down, Get Up), and lack the polished production of songs like Colder, Battleships. But that's just a personal Travis preference. Ode is still a quality album.

Good songs alway don't make a mark the first time you listen... good songs = the more you listen the more you grow to like them the good songs = the more you listen the more you grow to love them!!
I've listened to the album loads of times and am amazed by them once again!!!
Keep up the fab work guys Xx |

Nope I know my own mind, thank you! I think it's more a case that we do agree on this point. Simple as that. I've posted this theory on another thread - yours possibly. The one bizarrely named "The". If I remember correctly, I was just expanding on your comments.
Makes a change from me arguing with everyone. How boring!!! |

I prefer to describe it as clarification and padding out with thoughtful, so far unconsidered, extras :)
