Awww man, I'm just reading up on the match report for the Super Bowl this morning. Last minute touch down. Tom brady sacked FIVE times!! Eli Manning named MVP. I wish I'd stayed up to watch that. Sounds like an awesome game.

I spent my Sunday afternoon in Edinburgh at Murrayfield, watching Scotland take on France at the six nations. Well. That was a complete waste of an afternoon. Terrible game. Well for Scotland. France looked amazing. Quick passing through hand, very pacey backs. They controlled the whole match, which is unusual for a French team. Scotland look like wooden spoon contenders (along with Ireland!!)

FYI everyone, Football. i.e. FOOTBALL is a brilliant sport. There's nothing soft about it. And the level of skill on display these days is nothing short of breathtaking. e.g. Christiano Ronaldo at the moment. Or most of the Arsenal team. Liquid football. And try watching lower league football, like I have to suffer. There's nothing pretty or soft about it. And for any rugby fans who consider football to be 'soft', I've seen all you big hard rugby men play touch rugby! Haha. What a hard sport that is!

So that was my summary of sport for the weekend.

It didn't start out as a good game (see my previous posts). But the last five minutes were incredible. Gooooo Giants! And that dude caught the ball against his helmet! Aw man, that was awesome.

But Brady getting sacked all those times was pretty sweet. Hey remember when Eli got sacked and fumbled the ball between his legs and almost turned it over but somehow managed to get the ball back? My dad called it a "Crotch Recovery" I decided that should officially be introduced into current football vernacular. :D

"real football" - a bunch of overpaid haircuts chasing each other up and down the pitch for what seems like an eternity and looking for an oscar if someone tips off them.

Tom Brady spending most of the game on his ass made the night for me.

Well that and Eli Manning's wonder play.
