Which kind of football are we talking about here, anyway?

As Esteban is from UK, I guess we're talking about the kind of football that involves ball and feet. How weird is that, huh? lol

So, (gag) soccer? Don't EVEN get me started on how much I hate soccer. I have a special hard, black pit in my heart reserved especially for that sport.

Why it's close to hockey in terms of skill and intimidation ?

Ummmm...too much kicking? Not enough ice?

A lot of it goes back to being forced to play it in middle school. Seemed like we played it for ages. I never did know the rules. I just stood out in a field for an hour.

I read a really funny article a few years ago about why Americans hate soccer, even though the rest of the world is crazy about it. They keep trying to force World Cup fanaticism on us and we keep resisting. I wonder if that will change with all the little kid teams that are around now. Or maybe they'll just grow out of it. We can only hope.

Gotta go back to real life now. Nice chatting with you all.

Sadly yes. Learning how to play Videotape by Radiohead on the piano, and waiting to go to party that has supposedly already been shut down.
