I don't like this feeling I have inside of me. I can't explain it and I dunno what it is. But I think it's been triggered off by something Mancunian, either Oasis or someone I know... I feel sick. |

- endless department meetings (6 hours yesterday - I had to skip lunch!)
- marking papers that you can't even read either because of an awful handwriting or because it just doesn't make sense
- rain when you've just straightened your hair
- my brother's insanely loud techno music when I'm working on my thesis...

Do schools still do handwriting classes? I remember having them in primary school, taught us how to write nice lol. |

I think they do have handwriting classes in primary school. I know I did when I was in primary school. But by the time students arrive in uni (where I teach), they don't bother to write nicely anymore. |

*stupid assignments that have absolutely nothing to do with the class you are taking
*people who are months ahead of me in terms of getting these shit assignments done
*angry commuters
*stupid teaching clothes policy
*sleeptalking
*not having credit
*not having time/energy to spend proper quality time with people
*the fact that in less than 8 months I'm going to have to be a proper grown-up adult educating impressionable kids
*old biddies who take delight in informing me I can't get on the bus cos she's taken the last seat
okay, i'm gonna have to stop, i could literally go on for pages because i'm so tired and narked right now. |

My handwriting's gotten better with age, I think I'm against the norm. I used t get reprimanded for having "Chicken Scratch" Way to boost the self esteem, Public School :P Right now I'm on a crusade to bring back cursive. nobody writes in script anymore! ;) |
