oo, i did A level Maths - i passed the applied paper (B) and completely failed the Pure paper. Hubby has Further Maths A level and his mum was a rare bread of teacher and taught 'A' level maths in the 1950's when women where expected to stay at home. |

Lots of physics really - rotational stuff, forces, angles, canon balls are a memory - remember this was many years ago so might not be the same now - pushing objects up an incline - i can't remember much but i did enjoy it.
The pure teacher didn't believe girls should do maths and so intimidated me loads and when i didn't understand wouldn't repaet it just shouted lots about how i proved girls shouldn't do maths. I should have reproted him but instead i began bunking classes which of course really helped me understand!!!! |

A mouse in my flat. Just got in today when my flatmate left the door to the patio open.
My flatmate (of the female gender, of course) doesn't want to be attacked by a mouse but doesn't want me to kill it. It's got in behind a panel under the oven, so I've laid a couple of traps down.
It's a pity; I like mice, but not when they're scavenging in my flat. |

Whether to grow my hair a bit while I still can, or get it cut again? |

I wondered about this. After shaving my head in October, it's all grown back into some weird foppish rats nest of a mess. So I'm off to get it cut tonight into a nice, sensible, squared off, short back and sides. I just wasn't built to have long hair. |

It's how i've had it for a while now, but just hadn't got round to getting it cut for a bit.
That photo in my avatar is over 30 years old, so it's not been like that for quite some time.
To be honest, it's a relief I still have hair :-) |
