besides you and David Cameron who speak proper english in Chavland ? [/quote]
Well now, as Chav's really originated in Essex and I've never lived there i wouldn't know! And as i was saying, it doesn't matter how you speak and whether or not a word is used currently in the English language as it is constantly evolving - i mean 5 years ago 'bling' didn't mean a thing! As for David Cameron - he's is just trying WAY too hard and ends up looking smarmy, he's trying to 'connect' with the younger people and that's won't work with me cos i'm proably as old as he is anyway! Now i know plenty of people from all around the world who speak proper like what i does and that's cool.

Bloody hell that's a lot of places, which was the best?
The Falklands - cold, windy, wild, fought over but fecking beautiful and a fantastic community - the islands total population was 2500!!! I saw some fantastic wildlife and expereinced a life style that died out here 50 years ago. In a year i told over 3000 photos, made many friends, nearly got scurvy from a lack of fruit and veg when the planes couldn't land due to the adverse wind conditions (rotary turbulence). But i loved it. A year was enough - i'd go back though in a few years and do it all again if offered.

was yr dad in the army ?
No, my dad was a teacher (physics) but did VSO for the first few years of my life, then moved for jobs, then i married into the RAF (for my sins - and me a pacifist!) and the travelling hasn't stopped! I long to stop at times and develop roots but i do enjoy seeing new places!

I was wondering as i worked (Au Pair) for someone in the army and he had been all over the place.
The money isn't bad when you travel - he was a colonel.

Cool! Quite a list you've got there Spid!
My boyfriend lived in Zambia as a boy among other interesting places. He got Malaria and nearly died. His mother is a doctor so she took care of him in the hotel where they lived because she didn't trust the hospitals there. What took you to Zambia? For my boyfriend's family, they were trying to leave Poland because it wasn't a good situation there in the early 80s. It was one of their stops trying to make it to the U.S. for a better life.

i was born in Zambia whilst my dad was teaching Physics out there, my mum was a nurse and i got a lot of chest infections and she made homemade steam tents for the same reason (also the nearest hospital was 300 miles away along some very poor roads), we returned to england for my brother to be born as my mum wasn't going through the Zambian hospital system again! Waht about you? YOu been a wandering?
