Top 5 for sure.

I'm sort of here. Mostly working on school stuff at the moment though I'm checking here every 5 minutes in hopes of dates being announced. |

Hah, I appreciate the 'we' though, the thought of me being pathetic is nothing new. I'm such a loser ;P |

Regarding tour date anxiety, I had a dream last night that I was on the messageboard and they announced dates and there was a florida one on december 14 (just after my finals and exactly when i need it to be) and I was estatic. But then I woke up around 3 in the morning and realized it didn't happen and proceeded to not sleep... a little sad, yes? |

I confess that I'm waiting to know the date before I decide for sure whether or not I'm going to Ohio to my cousin's wedding in November. That's some sad priorities!!
But my fantasy is that they'll play Detroit that Saturday night when I'm up there (wedding is on Friday) and I can see them twice- once here and once there. |

Are you particularly close with this cousin? Because, really, if you're not, then I don't think it's so bad choosing travis over the wedding... right? |

No, I"m not. It's really more the family is using it as a family reunion of sorts. If it was a cousin I'm close to there would be no question but since it's more a family "event" I'm slightly on the fence. I saw a part of this side of my family this summer for an afternoon. I have 15 or so (don't make count) cousins on that side and I think most of them are coming.
Thanks for helping me justify putting off buying a plane ticket for a tour schedule! : ) |

Ewww, my parents just had to throw out our bag salad. Apparently there's a international recall on Dole Salad.
Yeah, I have some of my Travis tour dreams chronicled on the other board, let me see if I can remember them.
#1: They came over to my house, I made them scrambled eggs.
#2: I was @ a Travis concert. Dougie caught my eye. I mouthed the words 'I love you,' to him. He mouths, 'What?!' I shout it this time. Then he stops playing comes to the edge of the stage hands me a sheet of paper and pen and goes, "Write it down!'
#3: Travis is playing @ my high school. Everyone's sitting down, no one's standing by the stage, with the exception of me and two other girls. I yell, 'PLAY U16 GIRLS!' Fran goes, 'Ok love, but only after we play Re-Offender.' |

*realizes this should be in T-Chat but doesn't really care* :D There is no one here to yell at us for posting about Travis in G-Chat anyway! :P
Haha. w/e people have been drifting away from t chat
currently listening to: SING!, Driftwood, Writing to Reach You
I think he's just going down my Singles playlist. Ok, that's good nice and easy stuff to follow.

So Nikki, do you have a journalism job, or internship?
Sorry, went to make tea.
Yes, Lauren, I have a journalism job. I graduated last May with a BA in journalism and I'm currently a reporter/assistant layout editor for an automotive newspaper. In Detroit, that's pretty much all anyone cares about...that and sports! I love hockey but would LOVE to ultimately write for a travel magazine or work as an entertainment writer. The paper I work for now is a weekly but I interned for The Oakland Press (which, I'm sure Anne knows as she lived here) is a pretty big daily paper here in Michigan.
Are you interning? When do you graduate?
