Do people really go on dates? I wish I was admitted to that club. It's always drunken fumbles and a red face in the morning time in my life. Sniff.

I did go on dates when I was at school, but they were always uncomfortable and boring.

So what happened? Why was it only that weekend?

nothing happened, the next morning i seen her for a few minutes before work and we had a laugh about the night before, and by the time she got back to the flat i was on the last bus home.

I guess my question was if it was so great and she stuck in your head, why didn't you try and see her again? If she lives with your sister it's not like she's hard to track down. Just curious....

That makes sense. Sounds like the right thing to do.

No it doesn't...she could have been the one for you and you blew becuase you THINK it might have been taking advantage of her. At worst you both could have had a great time even if it was for a short period...guess you'll never know now.

Well she could have pursued him if she wanted and she didn't so it probably happened just as it should. I think Monkey is a true gent- he uses toilet paper and everything.

one day you will lose your temper with the wrong guy, someone with a big brother or an equally short-tempered dad

Nah. I'm always careful with who I lose my temper to. Besides, I'm alot taller and stronger than I look, so it wouldn't be a problem.

What if she is on another board right now telling the same story...and someone says, "well, he would have pursued you if he was really interested..."

Get it?? It's that whole, "better to have loved and lost..." thingy. : )

Sure but if neither of them went after it then it wasn't meant to be. Maybe it's a lost love or maybe it was a good night that helped her get over her relationship a bit but that's all it was supposed to be. What do you think Monkey?
