But seriously, you pretty much have to rent your house to anyone who comes along who can pay? That really doesn't seem fair to the homeowner. So what would happen if you interviewed someone who is obvously strange and seemed like a risky tenent? It doesn't seem right that you are obligated to say yes.

Well creepy and weird people aren't protected under this Act. You can say no, you just have to give a vague reason that isn't along the lines of "it's because you're Jewish." Especially now that we are working with agents to get it listed they can help come up with a reason to say no when necessary. That doesn't break the law of course.

ironic because the girl I took to Judge Joe Brown turned out to be a meth head!
