Anne just told me they got searched on the way back too. Even their own country thinks they are sketch :p

We are home. Yes, we were pulled over, interrogated, and searched again. All electronic devices on the dash board. Trunk popped, hood popped, keys surrendered, licenses and passports given. Yellow paper given to several officers. Honestly! Do we look like criminals or something??? And after all that, they just give our stuff back and say, "Have a lovely evening, ladies." No explanation, nothing.
The only clue we had was an officer saying on the walkie talkie that he had a "vehicle echo" in lane 4. My vehicle echoes?!

Oops, sorry. I have been really quiet! It's really hard to come back from a three-day vacation to design the front page. Yesterday was very stressful. But I am here now. :)
LOL @ the "EEEEEEEE"...I didn't even think about that. We were like "echo? what's an echo?" Ugh. It was such a hassle! And I had to pee sooo bad! But we were in Windsor and I was like "Oh, I can hold it until we get to your house." Next thing I know we are in some building being questioned at the border!
But it was a lovely weekend! We really did have a great time, despite the border issues. I have pics up on FB now, too...but you guys have all probably seen them by now. :) |
