Don't kill me for this, but the soundtrack I've heard most must be Jon Bon Jovi's Blaze of Glory from Young Guns II. Basically, I bought it on tape back then, and I'd just started to learn English. I was so keen on learning more that I went through all the lyrics meticulously and looked up all the words. Result: Even if I haven't heard the album for years, I still know all the lyrics by heart. A bit scary, to be honest.

Ah, right, I get it. Just being a little dense here :oP

I actually dug out the old tape today and realised it was knackered, so I bought the album on iTunes. It confirmed my suspicions; I can indeed still sing along to it all. Mind, I though back then that the lyrics were really profound. They're not lol

Oh don't get me wrong, I loved the music as well. I just don't think I would have listened to it today if it didn't hold so many memories for me...

A bit cheesy?? At the beginning of Blaze of Glory, we hear the following:

Kiefer Sutherland: "You are not a god"
Emilio Estevez: "Why don't you pull the trigger and find out"

and that sort of sets the tone of the album. It's all about being on the run and 'brothers' betraying each other.

That phrase in Santa Fe, 'the spirits, they intoxicate me', really confused me for years. I had a shit dictionary, and it only translated 'spirit' to something similar to 'ghost'. I only found out later that it could also mean alcohol lol
