Whoah, Kristy, you're putting so much work into your costume! my "handicraft"-skills are pretty much limited to crocheting, so I'm always in awe when someone makes their own costume/clothes... sigh.
I'm going to need a costume in November, for one of those "fancy-dress" parties (that somehow have made their way to Germany, we never used to have them here). The theme will be "movie stars & characters", which I think is a bit... erm... well... anyway, I don't have a wig, I don't have a piece of clothing that looks like a costume, (and I don't even have a fringe or I could just be boring and go as Mia Wallace). |

Almost done.

And the back complete with Travis pun.

It's kinda wonky but that is what I get for not measuring and just hacking |

Kristy!! Nice hand stiching on the letters! I love it!! I think Fran and Andy will be quite impressed. :) You better post pics of you wearing that to the concert!! I'm so happy you went with fish nets and a foofy skirt!
I ended up going as an angel. Not original, but it was a pretty darn cute costume. Wings and all.
PS: Welcome back to the board, Mr. Swan. ;) |
