I was supposed to have watched it from the stalls of the stadium but when I got there, my sight was blocked by metal meshwork. I wanted to kill myself! I couldn't watch them through that!! My favourite band in the world... So we (my friend and I) paid a guy to let us go to the field. I know... that's not right... but well...I think it was $30 more than we had paid...It was worth every penny. It was the first time I was so close to a stage. OH my... I loved every minute of that concert...UNFORGETTABLE.
jajajjaja... Yer luky to find the way out to the field!!!
My first Travis gig was the same (obviously) and feel the same as you, it was pretty amazing!
Is still on the top 3 live gigs i´ve ever seen.-
Soo... we´re still hopping that yer came back soon to play another...

April 27, 2000; Orpheum Theatre, Boston, MA.
I saw them open for Oasis. I was there for Oasis, but I'd heard really great things about Travis before the show, so I made sure to get there nice and early. By Travis's 3rd song on the set, I was hooked. At the end of the night, I found myself humming Travis songs instead of Oasis songs! And by the next time I saw them (a few days later, in NYC), I already knew the songs by heart. It was love at first sight. |

Hate to sound like an ass. But cotton club paisley jan/feb? 1992. Under the name glass onion of course. Knew at the time Fran was going to be a star (i also worked with him). First saw them under the name Travis T in the park king tutts tent 1996. AIWDIR had a simplistic majic about it. |

You don't sound like an ass, but like a damn lucky one! ;o) It's great you got to see them when they don't even were officially Travis :o). |

We should make a "Please Travis, come where you never came before" club, or something like that... |
