My sister and I were rooting for Spain, and when the win was "final" we ran into our brother's room (Italy is his all time favourite team...) and shouted "VIVA ESPAÑA!!!". He wasn't pleased XD |

See what sometimes happens when you play for penalties serves you right.
Prediction... Russia to give Spain a good game but Spain to just edge it, Germany to bring Turkey down to earth and then to go on and win it.

I was very nervous watching the game, cause we played better than the Italian, but you know that although they are dying, you have to keep an eye on them. It was amazing that for the first time in years luck stood by our side. I promise I couldn't (and can't) be happier. And I am cause it's the first time I live this on a Eurocup or a Worldcup. It's different from the times Real Madrid won the Champions Leagues. This time the whole country is happy. I hope we can beat Russia on Thursday.

Monica, i hope you are enjoying the thrills and spills that football can bring to you and a country.
Football fans outside your country know that the Spanish team are one of the most talented group of players in europe.
Football is about the now, and you have to enjoy it while it lasts. The past is the past, so beleive in your team, keep the faith, and who knows...they might just go on and win the thing. Russia will be a tough cookie though.
