| I remember when I lived in England and had season tickets at Manchester Storm, they introduced cheerleaders one year. Very lame. They just served to distract the players on the ice! |

I believe not many hockey players have all their teeth left. I know Ville Peltonen wears false teeth when he's out in the public (seen him in my neighbourhood), but they're out on the ice. |

a lot of them have permantant bridges or whatever they are called glued right in there, so he could have lost some along the way.

I just skimmed through it as im at work, but i like the canadianess of it, and a few lines that i saw that were really funny:
-At the "not so hot" end of the spectrum: he has a pointy head and once appeared in an episode of All My Children.
-Young Mr. Ortmeyer is seriously cute. Last year, he was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism and missed about 40 games before coming back to finish the season and get nominated for the Bill Masterson -- don't you just want to hug him? He's way hotter than our Masterson candidate, Toby "oh for fuck sakes" Peterson
-I'm sick, and I blame Chris Pronger

Nah, I have a very good specimen at home already, wouldn't change. Also, V's too young, has three kids and a stern looking wife, so noooo, thanks!
It's just nice to have a national hero in your neighbourhood (he was the captain of the 1995 team). My American cousin is very envious. |
