Awful news Maria. My condolences to you and your family. My Dad is battling cancer at the moment so I know what an evil thing it is. Forunately he's not letting it get the better of him.

The funeral mass and burial was earlier today.

I sang the final hymn. Be not afraid. It went down very well, but it was awful emotional. The minute i finished the last chorus i couldn't hold the tears back anymore.
Felt like an idiot balling up on the alter.
There was a huge crowd at the funeral, it was amazing.
John had a beautiful ceremony.

It'll take a while to realise he is gone. It'll be the little things that will make it reality that he is gone.
Life goes on.
He's in a better place
May he rest in peace
