I'm just not a very adventurous eater. That's always my problem when traveling. I like the familiar. I've been to every McDonald's in Tokyo except one. Way to broaden my horizons, aye? |

OMG,I do not think I have the courage to swallow that thing. I would like to elaborate on that, but I should be respectful I guess. I will only say that it is not my cup of tea.
Empanadas on the other hand....hmmm yummy. Sometimes I make Turkified versions of it. I also passionately love Indian, Thai and Mexican. And yes, Kebaps...what can I say? Love them but I am a bit picky. Don't get them everywhere because it gets too disappointing.
Physke, in that kebab image, on the left-hand side there is a sausage-looking thing. What the hell is that? I could not figure it out.
Hahaha, last night when I put this image, I realized it too:) I totally don't know what it is! It seems like some intestines or stg disgusting. Let's discuss it in another platform:) |

Dubz, I watched a programme on Iceland the other week and whale is very big over there. Maybe you should go over on hols? Mind you they leave the flesh to rot then season it with salt and let it dry out in the open air. Apparently no flies or anthing goes near it as the smell is so vile! The poor guy trying it chucked his ring!(sick) LMAO
Do the Frenchies not eat Horse?
Barf...think I'm gonna throw! lol
Yeah Clarkson was talking about it on QI, said he was in Iceland and had a Whale steak and the waiter asked if he would like some grated Puffin on that, he also said that he had Seal's Fipper for a starter !!
Dubz
Grated puffin! lol Hilarious, poor wee puffins I like them. Yeah I remember now it was Globe Trekkers I watched. I love that channel. |

I would kill for a kebab right now... of all the kebab shops I've been to in all these years I only like(love, actually) one, and that happens to be fantastic! If all the kebab places in Turkey make them like that, I doubt I'll ever leave... if I ever go to Turkey that is ;)

I know I will if I have one :D
I like to think that I'm pretty adventurous when it comes to food... not that I've ever had anything wild but I would if I were given the chance. I'd draw the line at any animal's testicles, though... |

Polish food is my favorite! I could go for some...

Golabki (Stuffed Cabbage)

White Barszcz with eggs and Kielbasa

Kaputsa (like sauerkraut)

Kiszka (Blood Sausage)
and my personal favorite...

Pierogi!!! (with potatoes and farmer's cheese)
Mmmmmm. My mouth is watering. Megg, can I come visit so you can cook for me? :)

My favorite one is in the theater district...right down from the park with the Godzilla statue.
Here's where the statue is...and you can see where McDonalds is....the Big Macs tasted better there for some reason....

You mean the Biggie Macu? ;o) There are probably a lot more McDoanld's there now than when I was there. It was 20 years ago. The yogurt shakes were tasty.
