you betcha !
Che, Pearl Jam is way better than Nickleback!
As for favourite song... it's too hard to pick just one, because it depends on my mood and the situations I'm in. But maybe Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic by The Police. I find it soothing and it does a good job cheering me up. But there are tons more... |

The Humpty Dumpty Love Song has been my favourite song for so long, but blur's Coffee and TV is threatening to replace it! I so love Graham Coxon :) |

"Babylon" - David Gray
Here are the lyrics :
Friday night I'm going nowhere
All the lights are changing green to red
Turning over TV stations
Situations running through my head
Well looking back through time
You know it's clear that I've been blind
I've been a fool
To ever open up my heart
To all that jealousy, that bitterness, that ridicule
Saturday I'm running wild
And all the lights are changing red to green
Moving through the crowd I'm pushing
Chemicals all rushing through my bloodstream
Only wish that you were here
You know I'm seeing it so clear
I've been afraid
To tell you how I really feel
Admit to some of those bad mistakes I've made
If you want it
Come and get it
Crying out loud
The love that I was
Giving you was
Never in doubt
Let go your heart
Let go your head
And feel it now
Babylon, Babylon
Sunday all the lights of London
Shining, Sky is fading red to blue
I'm kicking through the Autumn leaves
And wondering where it is you might be going to
Turning back for home
You know I'm feeling so alone
I can't believe
Climbing on the stair
I turn around to see you smiling there
In front of me
If you want it
Come and get it
Crying out loud
The love that I was
Giving you was
Never in doubt
And feel it now
Let go your heart
Let go your head
And feel it now
Let go your heart
Let go your head
And feel it now
Let go your heart
Let go your head
And feel it now
Let go your heart
Let go your head
And feel it now
Babylon, Babylon, Babylon

Aww, I like "Babylon", but prefer "This Years Love." Which reminds me, i should post about that in the misheard lyrics thread.
I know a lot of people on here dont like David Gray, but I do. |

I bought White Ladder the other day so I'm getting into this now. First couple of listens are promising. |

The whole album is quite amazing.
Bono said it changed its life. |

Yes, that song is so good... one of my favourites in that CD... don't know why they don't play it |

Agree with Lil'Grin on this one, my favourite song is constantly changing as I can always think of a better one, I couldn't even narrow it down to one per genre, a few who frequent the top twenty would be...

Out of the Blue - System F
Song to the Siren - This Mortal Coil
Music for a Found Harmonium - Patrick Street
A Rainy Night in Soho - The Pogues
Ending (an Ascent) - Brian Eno
All I Wanna Do is Rock - Travis (yes I actually think it's that good)
NRG - Adamski
Pearly Dewdrops Drops - Cocteau Twins
Waltz for Aidan - Mogwai
Life on Mars - Bowie
Closing Time - Leonard Cohen
Caribou - Pixies
In my Life - Johnny Cash
You've got a Lot to Answer for - Catatonia
Bring the Noise - Public Enemy
Can't Stand Losing You - The Beat
Saturn 5 - Inspiral Carpets
Return of the Los Palmas 7 - Madness
Komodo - Mauro Picoto
Silent Sigh - Badly Drawn Boy
Wonderful Days - Charlie Lownoise and Mental Theo
Walk Away - Cast
Hey Bulldog - The Beatles
Mersey Paradise - Stone Roses
Mad Cyril - Happy Mondays

I LOVE your list Dubz :) now some I haven't heard off but it's a great list! Darn just put that on a mixtape and I'd be happy! lol
I agree with Grin (sorry Rimmer) too.
I haven't posted in here yet because I simply can't think of ONE favourite tune....I have loads of them and again like you said Dubz, from all different genres. I can't compete with crap like David Gray! lol ;P |

I think people are missing my point, I was having a dig at some people's choices... But I suppose favourite has nothing to do with quality. |

I think you're right about that.
As some of you already said, it's constantly changing...
Some all- time favourites might be
Don't think twice, it's alright- Bob Dylan, although he's done such a lot of great stuff and it's almost impossible to pick out just one
Changes- David Bowie
Maestro- Kaizers Orchestra (check them out- hilarious!!!)
and so many other great songs.
My favourite Travis- song is probably Flowers in the window, or Turn.
I just can't tell...
