Hahaha, your kids rock.
It doesn't look that bad to me, maybe it makes you feel that way when you're wearing it, I don't know. I agree it's a bit too shiny though...

Sorry, 32 is supposed to be old?! I've got off with people 10 years older than that! |

I think I more mean stage of life than old. I certainly don't feel old. But I don't feel like that dress suits me. If my husband wanted me to wear that when we went out to tickle his fancy that would be one thing. But if I was out with the girls and wore that I feel like it would be false advertising.

LOL at that!
I agree it's a bit too shiny, but maybe you could wear it just to play with your children. I'm sure they'd be thrilled! |

Not at all. My older sister is 34 and I think she's not old at all, so 32 is great :o). |

Really! I mean... It looks like the first dress I gave him. All sparkling and shiny. XD
And the necklace? XD It's of the same colour of his wit. XD

LMAO!!!!!! I just laughed SO hard when I opened this thread. WTF was Brian thinking letting them get that, Anne? Heheheee....and the necklace matches so well! I just hope they won't be sad when you don't wear it out!
I wouldn't even wear a mid-thigh, sliver, skin-tight dress out in public and I'm 23! |

old for wearing short shiny dresses! Not old for most other things.
I need Kayte to see this thread because perhaps another mother will see my point of view.
Well, well, well. What a lovely gift. I will agree that is probably not what most mothers in their 30's would wear. Not only do most 32-year-old mothers not have many occasions to wear such a dress, shiny fabrics tend to reveal figure flaws. You can't hide much in that dress. Depending on where you wear it, it may also convey the message, "I'm looking," or at least "I want to be looked at."
While I have no doubt that your children chose this, your husband paid for it. Does he really like it, or was he laughing on the inside?
What are "the children" going to get him for his birthday? |
