Thanks very much. I've got the £40 box thing but I've not been able to enjoy it yet. I'll listen to the BBC stuff in a few weeks thanks. I saw them on Jonathan Woss last night. Nude is brilliant. :) I've heard it a few times now. Prefer their less experimental songs. They're much better at writing normal songs. They're my 3rd favourite band for sure.

The listen again feature normally only lasts for a week, so that means it may disappear by Monday. The broadcast has been put on every file-sharing site around though, so you could explore that option.

I totally agree with you about 'normal' songs. I love The Bends at the mo, but I've struggled to get any hold on In Rainbows' more unusual bits. It would be nice if they tried to make the songs better rather than making them weirder, but I suppose it's their right to be as weird as they like :)

If I read your profile correctly, Muse is your second-favourite band, no? I got Black Holes... at the same time as The Bends, which is also brilliant. I don't know why I waited so long, but not buying it sort of became a habit :)

I'll have a look for the Radiohead stuff thanks. Yes, Radiohead are at their best when they don't go weird. Like Spinning Plates is about the only weird one I like. That's a great song.

Yeah Muse!!! Been a big fan for nearly 5 years now. Have you got any of their other albums? Apart from Showbiz (first album) all their albums are amazing. They're recording this year, for a new album next year. More dance funky stuff like Map Of The Problematique and Supermassive Black Hole they say. They're also going to use a whole orchestra for some stuff and they say they want to do at least one 14 minute song which Matt Bellamy has apparently described as 'slimy opera'. It could be an incredible album. :)

No, no other albums unfortunately. I'll probably get them at some point, but I'm fairly saturated with new albums at the moment :)

It's amazing how they make such a huge sound with only three of them... The next record sounds cool, I love the way the songs at the start of BH&R have no gaps in between, like they can't wait to start playing because they're so good. :)

And I thought Knights of Cydonia was long! *is impressed*

You've heard nothing if all you know is Black Holes. :) Origin Of Symmetry and Absolution are amazing albums too, especially OOS. Awesome band! And they're only going to get better. Have you seen them live? Amazing. Get HAARP the live Wembley DVD/CD. I saw them at Wembley. Incredible gig.

Oh and they've done 3 or 4 6 minute songs. Citizen Erased is amazing.

Lol, that's a lot of recommendations in one post! :) OK, I'll get another album soon if you insist, but I'll wait a bit before getting HAARP so I know the songs first. :)

There aren't bands who not only manage to work a huge arena like Wembley, but are actually better like that than in a more intimate place. Travis wouldn't work at all, the songs would go all weak apart from some of Good Feeling maybe, and the new stuff. Have you found yourself on the DVD? :P

Get Absolution first, then Origin Of Symmetry. You won't regret it. :) I would say the fans favourite album is OOS. I'm tempted to say its my favourite too.

No, they did 2 Wembley gigs. The DVD is of the Sunday. I was at the Saturday but the CD is of the Saturday. I'm sure someone has uploaded the DVD videos to YouTube... maybe.

Seriously, you've got some great music to hear! :)

OK, I'm sorted on the Muse CD buying, so thanks! Are you on the Muse board? You seem to have a good knowledge of the 'fans favourite' which I only got when i started looking here. :)

Ah, damn it! Still, I expect you enjoyed the concert all the same! Can you hear yourself then? :)
I saw five tracks on channel 4 as promo for HAARP, they looked pretty epic!

Yes I post on the Muse board from time to time. Not as often as here. Nicer people here. :) I love Travis and Muse a lot more than I love any other band. I would say Radiohead but they've done so many songs I don't like you see.

No I can't hear myself. :) haha 70,000 or something people there. Miles away from the stage I was. Yes, was hugely epic. 'Blackout' especially. It might be up on YouTube... It is!!! Search 'muse blackout haarp' Great stuff! :)

Did you even need to say the people here are nicer? :) I've never even seen their messageboard, and I could have told you that!

Lol, it's on youtube four times :) I see what you mean, epic is an understatement. Particularly love the balloons and the guitar work half-way through.

On the Radiohead front (if you remember back that far and if anyone else is still reading this), I was wondering whether I should buy the 7CD complete box thing. I only have one CD, so it's now or never, but if I get it and don't like it, I look stupid. Hmmmm...

I thought you said you had In Rainbows and The Bends. No? I guessed you had more actually too. If you like 'normal' Radiohead then you'll like Ok Computer. Its my favourite album ever. Pablo Honey is quite simple but i still think its a good album. Kid A and Amnesiac are mostly weird but there are 5 great tracks on Amnesiac. Not too keen on Kid A. Hail To The Thief which I got a couple of weeks ago is actually pretty good. Some real crap but its got some great stuff too. If I were you, I'd get the albums individually.

EDIT - You downloaded In Rainbows I guess? lol Also, don't be too quick to judge the albums. Hated them all at first but songs start to get enjoyable. Like 'You and Whose Army' which I hated at first but now think its AMAZING!

Yeah I downloaded In Rainbows, and it's not included in the set anyway because they changed record labels. Sorry if I sounded like I had more CDs, sometimes I have set out to conceal it (like posting on here for a couple of months without having 12 Memories and not letting on :P) but not this time.

Yeah, the acclimatising to the songs is probably critical when it's a bit weird, but normally songs which take a while to get used are the best ones. Except if they're just crap anyway...

Thanks for the friend request btw :)

Thats right. I think an EP is included in it isn't it. 12 Memories is Radiohead-ish. You're right about songs/bands that at first you're unsure about, you end up loving. Muse were like that. Unsure about them for about a year but I thought I'd give them a try... lol Love 'em to bits now. Same with Radiohead although in their case, its more the songs that took time for me to like not the band as a whole.

That's ok. :) I won't be replying again today. iPod needs charging (I've been posting using my iPod touch all day! lol)

Speak soon! Adiós amigo.
