Do you mean the version we'll have is made up of different cuts from different sessions, etc?

On the new "Love" album, the verses of "Strawberry Fields" are switched around. I think John starts with the second one first. Kinda cool.

yup , they recored a band version then recorded a orchestra version , Lennon decided he like parts of this and parts of that and even though they were different tempos & keys George Martin spliced em together twidled with the speed on one and made it all work out

Imagine how easy that would be today with digital editing. We've had to do a bit of that in our EP- mainly Johnnie's drumming being off. Can't imagine working with tape recordings, seems so difficult and intricate!

It's intentional in "I Want to Hold Your Hand"? Hm, it doesn't seem like it is to me.

I can't hear it in "Let It Be," Paul. But there are so many different versions of it...I don't know if I'm listening to the same one as you.

You can hear it on the single version of Let It Be, and on the old album version. But not on the reworked version that McCartney did for "Let It be.... Naked".

Has anyone spotted it yet?

no but i've caught Lennon muttering Fuckn hell on hey Jude . They're good for leaving in stuff that coulda been cut out or obliterated

Yeah there's something on the White Album version of Helter Skelter which is seemingly Ringo after twenty sessions of drumming like feck, Shouts "I got Blisters on my Fingers". They decided to leave it in.

*Edit*

I've seen the Lennon vs the USA thing and I gotta admit I really liked it, it's actually more about the political climate and the state of fear in the US at the time and less about Lennon's so called genius, Huge lennon fans may be a bit dissappointed that it doesn't contain more of his music but I felt the fil is more about history than the man. There's stuff about his friendship with the Black Panthers and his deportation attempt by the US government, It is really interesting weather you are a fan or not.
