what do you want it to do?

I want it mainly for car use and internet use away from home and a user friendly txt facility . Of the three I've heard:

Xda - Is good but complex, too many msgs to deal with- Txt is hard to enjoy!

Iphone - Touchpad, nice screen but can't send pictures. Is it worth the money?

Blackberry - I've heard txting is a nightmare on the Pearl ( pearl is the version if you want wifi)bad screen for internet . Genealy over rated .

I've heard none are compatable with Tom Tom.

Shall I just stick with Nokia ?

Hey Esteban , you must know how people are getting on with these ?

Cheers :)

If you have the means, go for an iPhone. Honestly. They're awesome.

Quick question?

Can you link it into your MS Outlook at work ?, I was thinking of getting a Blackberry for this reason but...

I think I am about to get an iPhone. It is scary to even type that because I don't want to jinx it. My bro works at Apple and might be able to get me one with a 25% discount!!!!

If this all falls through then I'm getting a CrackBerry Curve. Which isn't a bad "fall back" phone.

My hubby wants me to get the iPhone so "when you get lost you can look things up on Google Maps instead of having to call me."

I cannot deny that I am mentally inferior when it comes to directions so I really cannot be offended by that statement. And if I get an iPhone out of it, well, he can say what he wants!

Dubz - I think so, I'd check though.

Anne - I have a Curve, they're the nuts. Too easy to check it all the time when you're off work though. Haven't switched mine on for 2 weeks because of this.

Yeah the Curve seems pretty awesome so I am going to be one happy cat either way.

The iphone can be linked to outlook if your email server is IMAP by june/july it will also be able to link up to exchange and active sync servers.
So basically , by July you should be covered no matter what your employer uses.

P.S

The iphone uses its own email client not outlook, but thats not a problem as its how your email is delivered , not the client you use to read it.
