The Escort BARELY fits, but we have to move the lawn mower, the snowblower, the bicycles and all that garage junk all the way to the front and sides. Then if you aim it just right you can get in without breaking the mirrors off. (Getting out is quite difficult, too.) The van is just too tall and wide. It was built in the late 50's--I don't know how in the world anyone put a 50's car in there.

But still it seems like even with the average garage clutter you should be able to get an Escort in and out without having to have a degree in physics.
Yeah I can't imagine how someone could get a 50s car in and out of there.

snow blower ?

Yeah...what? Michigan. Hello! A must-have! Especially after I heard the story of how my husband's grandfather had a heart attack and died while shoveling snow, at age 37. When my husband turned 37, that was his present. It's more than a snow blower--it's THE GIFT OF LIFE!

Oh, just Oakland Community College. I wanted to transfer to U of M but they still considered me out of state since I had moved up there for "educational purposes." I also got accepted to Eastern Michigan and they were willing to give me in-state tuition prices but I just didn't like it very much.

So I came back and went to the University of Texas. It's kind of weird thinking if I hadn't done that I wouldn't have met my husband and had the family we have. So it was a good decision.

Similar deal here. I met my husband while spinning my wheels for two years at "Hank High." (Henry Ford Community College). I ended up at U of M-Dearborn and he went to Wayne State.

Father of my ex went to Harvard law school and graduated "magna cum laude", brother of my ex did his MBA at Harvard - my ex did psychology in Madison, Winsconsin.
