The idea behind this was more to do with putting the band in control of what they want to do.
Fran said he wanted to release it, so why not?
It seems like they have more control over the next album, so just thought it might be a good start for a new direction. Admittedly if it was released, it would have to be very soon.
Its not like Travis even milked the boy with no name, the last single was released only 5 months after the album. The likes of green day and MCR release singles from 1 album well after 12 months of release. |

Hey Chokey,
Funny thing about this song is it describes my brother's wife (what are you going to when you stop crying?)...Great song, needs to be more promoted not choked. But if you think about it, he's just saying he's trying to chill, be happy, and this person he's describing can't deal with life. Probably describes most of the people on the planet....
