Well yesterday I went to The House of Representative. Weird huh? I'm wondering around Capitol hill in my gap jeans an knit beanie among these business dressed types. To kill time before I went, I stopped by the US Botanical gardens. It's free. It's actually an observatory, so everything is inside, which is great because it was raining yesterday. There was an orchid exhibition going on yesterday, and the main garden was so humid and heavily scented I just wanted to lay down and take in the middle of the walkway. There weren't a lot of people there, it being Wednesday afternoon and all...
But onto my weekend. Tomorrow going to see BJ Novak @ GWU. Sunday going to the Chinese New Years parade in Chinatown. |

Ohh, I know what you mean. Ale went through a simmilar situation last year and she kind of wanted to stop working there, but she wasn't laid off in the end.
As for my plans for the weekend, I'm going to have my first "hen party" (that's the english expression for it according to Wordreference, "despedida de soltera")! So I'm excited xD. |

"Antsy", I just learned a new word.
Why uncultured? It's just a stereotype. A lot of people don't like plays.

I have fallen asleep during every play I have ever gone to see, which were mostly lavish musical productions. It's warm in the auditorium, it's dark, music is playing...I can't help it.
Phantom of the Opera - fell asleep
Les Miserables - fell asleep
Bye Bye Birdie - fell asleep

It was, it smelled like vanilla and cinnamon (there were vanilla orchids and cinnamon trees) It was so beautiful too. I've got to take my camera next time. |
