I love Indefinitely. When you´re in love, this song makes you fly. I can´t understand why they don´t ever play it. |

Some Sad Song - it´s such a beautiful melody. It always gives me chills. Would love to hear it live one day...
it´s the same with Say Hello
and Perfect Heaven Space.
then there is of course
Beautiful Occupation (live at Alexandra Palace-London)
and
Turn - these two songs made me realize that music actually has the power to change the world
the day today - full of energy, makes me wanna dance :)

Yeah, that's one for me too. I find that their giving-chills factor has gradually gone down from the amazing four tracks (ILYA and the last three) on Good Feeling to not many recently. I hope that if they go rockier they can recapture the purity of the emotions from GF and TMW. |

Paperclips. It's so dark. I love that. Sheer, honest brilliance!
I know it's not every Travis fans favourite, but i absolutely adore it |

I <3 Paperclips!
Gaby, that line from Indefinitely ("I can see the light circling your reflection"...) gives me the chills too!!! Just love the music at that point in the song!
Also agree with the rockin' DVD performance of "The Fear" as well as "Turn" and "As You Are" from the More Than Us DVD in Glasgow.
Another song that give me the chills is "3 Times..." right when Fran sings "Oooooooon this little TOWN" and the music kicks in. *sigh* I love that! |

Oh man. Number one on my list is Andy's dobros solo on Happy To Hang Around. It does things to me. And... well, just that song in general. I wish I had known who the heck they were back on '03/'04 when they played it at gigs: I bet it's a magical thing to hear it live. (Fran, if you're lurking on this thread, any chance of hearing more 12 Memories stuff live again? That'd thrill me to pieces!)
Then there's Eyes Wide Open (hearing each instrument kick in live was awesome) and The Sea (such a hauntingly beautiful melody. Good on you, Mr. Dunlop!). Also, like several other people have mentioned, the live versions (a la Ally Pally) of The Fear and The Beautiful Occupation. Amazingness. |
