The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
This is the first Wes Anderson film I saw and while not laugh out loud funny it is amusing the whole way through, worth watching just to see Seu Jorge's Portugese Acoustic David Bowie Covers, Cate Blanchett is feckin' brilliant as is Bill Murray, Owen Wilson & Anjelica Heuston.

Well, if you liked "The Life Aquatic..." you definitely must have enjoyed "The Royal Tenenbaums", probably Anderson's best film to date. Even though I liked "Rushmore" a lot.
Tenenbaums is good, but Aquatic will always be my favourite, Rushmore is very good but... there is just something missing, The Darjeeling Limited is also very good but a little self indulgent, I've still to watch Bottle Rocket but watch this space!!

It is, that's why I'm annoyed I always forget to buy it. |

Bottle Rocket is ok. It's like a small movie (nice as it is) but I think you'll like it better if you don't expect too much. I'm looking forward to seeing The Darjeeling Limited, why self indulgent ??? |

Don't get me wrong it is a good film it's just I found it to be a little too "Wes" in places, a bit over quirky, however I've only seen it once so far maybe if it's like his other films it'll take a couple of viewings to fully appreciate. Enjoy!!

First heard of MC5 through these guys...The KLF (also known as The Justified Ancients of Mu-Mu, further known as The JAMMS). Cheesy Techno but they got better...with Tammy Wynette, hahahahahaha

Ha, It's Grim Up North is just wonderful (by Jams). I especially like the crow in the end. The song somehow catches the essence of the area... and I'm going to one of the mentioned places tomorrow :^P
