LOL. Yes perhaps she could knit something with Disney princesses, My Little Pony, Hello Kitty, and Dora on it.
But it would probably be too soft and comfortable for my tile lover. |

Thanks everyone for the compliments. When it's as cold as it is in Minnesota, knitting is a great hobby to have. It would be nice to trade in my corporate job for a hobby that pays!

You probably could. Find a smallish local art gallery and do a "trunk show." A small gallery around here was selling hand knit scarves last year at Christmas for almost $100 each and they were flying off the shelves. (Galleries typically take 50%). These scarves were nothing special, just fancy frou-frou yarn and a few beads. |

Exactly ! I'm sure you could make tons of money out of it.
Have you ever tried renting a small stall in a market to sell your goods ? Do it once to test the market and see how it goes.
Check what compepitors do and how much they sell - it helps.
Another thing i would avoid at all cost is knit items with Hello Kitty logos and so on...you don't want to deal with copyrights and/or lawyers.
