Wrist bands are handed out at the gates of the Castlegate on union street, then you gotta hand them back if you leave the enclosure. So just turn up on the night in plenty time and you'll get in problem free.
Incidently is anyone trying for the Travis double header on the 30th & 31st?! I think i might!! haha |

You get the wristbands when entering union street, they're free. The idea is that there is a limited number of wristbands to make sure that there isnt too many people on union street so it doesnt become overcrowded. If you leave union street then you've to hand your wristband back, but if you want to go back after that then a steward will either give you a wristband or you may have to wait if none are available.
For those looking for hotels... if you go to http://maps.google.co.uk and search for AB11 5BB this is where the event is being held, so you would be wanting to look for hotels around that area, even if you aren't in town Aberdeen isn't that big a place and I think all the buses go through union street, although since union street will mostly be blocked off on the lead up there will be slight alterations to the routes.
Hope this helps everyone! |
