I got braces on my bottom teeth this morning and I just tried to eat for the first time. Pathetic. I brought chicken noodle soup and even the smallest amount of chewing was like trying to chew with marbles in my mouth. I just started swallowing without chewing since it's all pretty mushy anyway. I guess I'll have a smoothie for dinner.
Does anyone who has had braces remember how long it took them to adjust to eating with them on?
my friend just got hers removed....eating meat in general is difficult because the food will get stuck in between your brackets...and your teeth will be sensitive every month when you visit the ortho...my brother was always very grumpy after his ortho visits. good luck coping! |

In Spain almost everybody sleeps siesta after having lunch. As we say, it's our "national sport" XD
4 hr lunch , lunch in Spain RULEZ !
Hahahaha. I usually have lunch at 14:30 or 15:00; and I have dinner at 20:30 or 21 in the winter; but in the summer, at 22:00. That's something that people find curious... I don't know why :p |

I don't like fish, but I have to eat it! It's healthy. Of course, if I can choose, I choose this one:

Spanish DO eat fish quite often, but it's not my case! I eat fish four times/month, but my parents eat 3 or 4 times/week. Did you eat "real" jamón or a substitute? :p |

Oh, you are really lucky! I heard some time ago that in Norway "real" jamón is very, very, very expensive. |

"Jamon jamon" was a good film - it's before Penelope Cruz did stupid films in America. |

Ooh no, poor you! From what I remember it did take a few days to eat properly, mouth felt very odd and sore with braces in. Good luck with it :o) |
