I heard the Britney cover at the live busk in London 6 years ago, it was very tongue in cheek. Best taken with a large dose of salt...
All the Young Dudes is the best live cover by a mile. It's been years since they did that beauty, but it was memorable.
Killer Queen was a great studio cover, tho the pedant in me winces every time I hear the T being articulated in Moet (& Chandon). Naughty Fran ;) |

Here are the studio covers:
Be My Baby
Don't Be Shy
Give Me Some Truth
Is That Love
Killer Queen
Lovely Rita
Pulling Mussels (From A Shell)
River
Unbelievers*
Under The Moonlight*
The Urge For Going
The Weight
You're A Big Girl Now
* Unbelievers was called a "cover" by many people prior to it having been recorded by Susie Hug. It was recorded by Travis first but then recorded by Susie Hug, making it a cover after the fact. I'm putting UTM in the list as well since if Unbelievers was a cover all along, then UTM is as well.

Wow! Too much? Thanks. |

The Pavement cover was great. I went to their reunion concert last week and it was so unreal to hear the original played only to Fran cover 'Range Life' and telling everyone to go out to buy their records.
Fran also covered a song called 'The Best Things in Life' by Green on Red. You can hear it HERE. Very Bob Dylan-esque. |
