I think they are determined to conquer the USA. I am right there behind them! Sandy and I were talking about how we love their music but knowing that they are such lovely chaps makes me want to go out and support/promote the snot out of them.

The wife and I are planning a trip out West to see them as soon as something is announced!
Oy ! Get back to work! :-)
I am...planning a "business" trip out West for late Fall...and if Travis just happens to be in the same town as me while I'm there, then so be it..... |

Would love to see the lads in the UK, would be my semi-first Travis gig, as I was lucky to see them from a distance at Live8.
Hope they tour where you are in the States... |

I have already pleaded with my husband if they don't come back we are taking out a loan and crossing the pond. Only kidding.....sort of! :)
The rush from the live show is slowly fading and I want it back.....
I will be patient!
Hey!! I'm glad you like my picture of Fran from the tour archive! That one is one of my favorites from the night!!! :D |

Fran also said they were thinking of double billing it next time, perhaps with the Killers. I'm not quite sure what to think of that...not that I wouldn't go...but Killers fans & Travis fans are quite a bit different... |

Now imho that's an evening not to be missed, if it goes ahead. Hopefully, it's not just a US thing.....? |

I would love if they went on tour together. I love both The Killers and Travis! |

I'm sure life on the road gets tiresome and I'm sure they miss their families. Oh what am I saying, my random act of selfishness is saying, "Who cares, I want more TRAVIS!"

I actually quite like the Killers' albums, but live they just didn't impress me...I guess if this came to fruition it'd give me the opportunity to give it a second go...what the hell! Travis & Killers! |

Double Bills are always such a neat idea in theory but my experience has never been very positive. The reasoning is that two artists, no matter how similar, attract slightly different audiences, and when they are playing on stage the audience just isn't all *in that zone*, you know what I mean? You have people talking, milling about, waiting for 'their' act to arrive, or you have people leaving after their favourite has left the stage...
I've seen a few double bills that were alright, but over all the energy just wasn't the same. I like the Killers ok, but to be honest I know I wouldn't be quite as enthusiastic to see them as I do Travis.

I was thinking the same thing. I wouldn't mind it, but the energy wouldn't be the same ... and that's what a Travis show is all about! Positive energy! :D |

Weezer / Foo Fighters was one of the est double bills ever (I attended three times in a week), but it was tough dealing with some of the meathead Foo fans mixing with some of the "lighter" Weezer fans....fortunately I fell in the middle as they are two of my favorite bands. |

I love Weezer but have never seen them live. I have all of their albums up to Maladroit, but didn't really dig the "Beverly Hills" song or the one about being on drugs or we're all on drugs from the album that followed... I would still love to see them live though. |
