In this order:
1-Why does it always rain on me? (The faces of Neil, Dougie and Andy when Fran appeared, and Fran's expression.....)
2-Sing (monkey increase the volume on TV)
3-Re-offender (Travis fights looks so real, they can do that video because they have a god relationship)
4-Driftwood (Neil sports teacher, and Dougie like a scientist)
5-Side (the lights go with the music)

My 9 year old has been searching out Travis videos on Youtube since she met them a couple of weeks ago at one of those mini radio gigs. She loves telling her little sister who each guy is since she's friends with them and all. I keep nervously hoping that no one named Travis has posted any amateur porn!

And 'Sing.' Jonathan Dayton & Valerie Faris are geniuses. If you guys haven't already, (A lot of you guys probably have) you need to check out the 2001 Top of the Pops performance of 'Sing' they reanact the food fight.

I wonder if Fran saw this coming... saw might not be the right word, his eyes are closed. Anyway, I wonder if he was in on it, or the band was like ooo his eyes are always closed, we'll get him. But then again, if I was him, I would have been like, "What the hell is going on with all these pies on the stage?" And the music is on playback, so he probably knew...
I kind of like 'Why Does It Always Rain On Me?" But I don't get it, but then again a lot of their videos don't make sense to me. What's with the dead goat? Why would you lock Fran in the trunk of a car? Fran, why are you wearing a kilt? Why? Why? WHY?
I think Re-Offender is beautiful. But I don't get Fran's white suit phase. |
