I have to admit, when fran played 20 accoustically...i cried. I freakin love that song. I thought it was so cool that he did it without amp and mic! Pretty amazing that people cooperated in being quiet, for the most part.
anyway, it was my first travis show since they haven't been here in 6 years, but hopefully not my last! I couldn't be happier. Thanks Travis for finally playing in minneapolis! I can't tell you how much it means to me!
The boy has got a set of pipes on him, no doubt. :) That was an awesome show. I lost my f@cking voice pointing at Klaus. It was worth it though. That was hilarious. |

What a fantastic show. I absolutely loved the encore. I took some pictures and thought I would share them with everyone.

Hey there!!
I was at the show yesterday too! I was wearing the "Selfish Jean" shirt--I wanted to post before the show and possibly meet up with you all, but I didn't have the chance to get to a computer!
I have a ton of pictures and some videos...I'll upload them and put up a link soon!
I'm exhausted! Haven't slept yet, as I had to take an early flight back down to dallas...did any of you stay after to meet the band and take photos?? |

damn, i wanted to stay...but i had to get home too. Besides, i didn't bring a camera and my cell phone battery died. So that really sucked. But, it was such a great show i refuse to feel down about that! |

OMG, what an amazing show...apparently the 'third times a charm' adage really is true...my third Travis show, the best show I've seen by anyone EVER! On the last tour, I was at the Chicago show where we got to hear Some Sad Song for the first time live, and then this show with Sail Away...and '20' totally without amplification! Holy hell! Getting to stand in front of Andy was just...there are no words for how awe-struck I am by his playing.
We stood out front in line for 4 hours to make sure we made the barricade and met some of the coolest people I've ever met in my lifetime! So shout out to Al, Marissa, Sam, and Erin! You guys are STARS! We totally owned that front row!
And getting to be there with my new BFF, Robyn, was another amazing experience.
After that, I didn't think it could get any better...and then we got to meet the band (I was the dorky girl who gave Fran a b-day present lol)...it was better than I could have ever asked for. I shall post pictures tomorrow.
I'm running on two hours of sleep, but damn, I'd do it ALL over again anytime! |

by the way, just wanted to say, it's Sailing Away, not Sail Away...i've been seeing this in a lot of the posts! hehe! |
