Three Times and You Lose is better than all of these. Big Chair is also great. Quite honestly, I find Battleships a wimpy bore of a song--like the worst, most toothless song from a band's first album, not a potential single off their fifth. |

With you completely. I don't get the huge appeal of Battleships. Great album track but not good enough to be a single. Heard it played a few times on he recent tour and it never exactly went down a storm.
After My Eyes I don't think one of the only classics left off a very good album is Big Chair. The band may not agree as I don't think I heard on the tour sadly. |

I was hoping it would be "Big Chair". That's one of my fave songs on the album. |

Colder.
It may not be the best of what's available, but I think it'd appeal to the masses and get more play on the radio.....'course most people who've forgotten about Travis would think it's actually another Coldplay song. :) |

Ugh. Battleships? I'm hoping it'll end up like Driftwood for me. I couldn't get into Driftwood for the longest time. Now I appreciate it more, though if anything gets skipped on TMW, it's that one. I'd rather get on the Eyes Wide Open train. |

Yeah, at Reading both Fran and Dougie mentioned My Eyes and Battleships as songs they were thinking of for singles. |

I think My Eyes is a good choice but while I love Battleships, I think Eyes Wide Open and Big Chair are more radio friendly.
Then again, I rarely listen to the radio... ;)
