but really though once you know how to excuse yourself and tell somebody to get lost all you need to know after that is how to get a drink and you've basically got the essentials for a good night out! |

If I may field this one...
What are your preferences...
Spirits
Coctails
Ales
Beers
Spirits: I would suggest Jameson, a mild smooth whisky, lovely either with a splash of coke or just on the rocks, or even in the proverbial hot whisky. Also try, Cork Dry Gin or Brian Boru Vodka.
Coctails: FBI's or I believe a Mudslide is the same thing, Vodka, Kahlua, Bailey's fucked into a blender with vanilla Ice Cream, Porterhouse and TGI's both do very good versions or a Cosmopolitan in the Morrison Hotel.
Beers: Guinness obviously, best pints I've found.. Toners, Baggot St. and Bowes of Fleet Street. you may want to try the Porterhouse's own brands, Plain and Oyster Stout. they also do a couple of passable lagers, Chiller and Templebrau.
Should be enough to get you started...

You should try and get a bottle of Brian Boru's "the Trinity", three small bottles that make up one.
