gan dabht.
múinteoir dee would be only too delighted.
but really though once you know how to excuse yourself and tell somebody to get lost all you need to know after that is how to get a drink and you've basically got the essentials for a good night out!

If I may field this one...

What are your preferences...

Spirits
Coctails
Ales
Beers

Spirits: I would suggest Jameson, a mild smooth whisky, lovely either with a splash of coke or just on the rocks, or even in the proverbial hot whisky. Also try, Cork Dry Gin or Brian Boru Vodka.

Coctails: FBI's or I believe a Mudslide is the same thing, Vodka, Kahlua, Bailey's fucked into a blender with vanilla Ice Cream, Porterhouse and TGI's both do very good versions or a Cosmopolitan in the Morrison Hotel.

Beers: Guinness obviously, best pints I've found.. Toners, Baggot St. and Bowes of Fleet Street. you may want to try the Porterhouse's own brands, Plain and Oyster Stout. they also do a couple of passable lagers, Chiller and Templebrau.

Should be enough to get you started...

You should try and get a bottle of Brian Boru's "the Trinity", three small bottles that make up one.
