Hello! And happy Christmas to all! I'm planning the annual New Years dinner for a small group of friends. It's a traditional thing that we do, and apparaently this year I volunteered to do the hosting and cooking.
Planning to do a three course meal with potato and sweet leek soup as a starter, reindeer roast with potatoes and veg as the main dish and caramellized pears with whipped cream for dessert. I feel like I should have started cooking yesterday.
Anyways, it's always nice to pop in on Travisland! |

What does reindeer taste like? Please don't say chicken. |

Haha, definitely not like chicken. More like beef or venison. It tastes like reindeer... |

We had smoked reindeer on Christmas eve for a starter (alongside of various fish dishes). It's good!
Tonight I'm cooking Parmesan chicken and risotto. |
