I forgot Postman Pat and The Turtles - not sure how I forgot the Turtles as I was obsessed! Had all the merchandise. lol
All the 'boy' programmes were watched because i used to copy my brother all the time, he was obsessed with Thomas and postman pat, he had to be taken to the Royal Mail office in our town all the time to go and visit Pat lol
Playdays. I used to play the Turtles in the playground at school, in nursery we had these concrete tunnels which were just like the sewers (or we imagined them) and me and another girl used to fight over who played April lol
Wow u had sewer tunnels to play turtles thats cool! April was wicked, much better than Irma! I used to play Poddington peas at school! I was always the one with the eye patch coz I had a toy one. Oh to be young again! |

Sesame Street in German (=how I learned German)
Various Danish shows like Anna & Lotte, Bamse & Kylling and Kaj & Andrea. Why did they always come in pairs?? lol

Oh, Little House on the Prairie was a favourite of mine too, like Anne of Green Gables. However, I also read all the Little House on the Prairie books at least five times each, and that put me off the show. After all, Laura Ingalls Wilder described her life, and the show just nicked it and added bits here and there. How far can you go in making up stories about real people? |

I didn't know there were books. Is it based on a true story or pure fiction ?
As someone once commented "no matter what happens, Charles Ingalls keeps a big smile and wears an immaculate shirt".

There are about 8 or 9 books as a series, all written by Laura Ingalls Wilder (THE Laura). She wrote it when she got older, and it's based on her memories and diaries.
