A squirrel for a change!
This specimen was spotted inside a design shop in a trendy hipster area near Helsinki centre last sunday (shop was closed). Apparently it had broken one 1000 € plate… Amazing pose!
Before I read your description I thought this was a stuffed squirrel. LOL
What a cutie. Carry on destroying the store little one! |

While watching three falcons circle in the sky there was a crashing noise then I glance to see a big ass white owl being chased by a couple of crows. |

Crows can be pretty wild. There's one attacking a black backed seagull's nest I can see from my window. One day the crow pulled the seagull sitting on the nest off by its wing and attacked the eggs. Luckily and apparently it didn't get them all, as the seagulls are still sitting. I like to see seagull chicks pouncing an beeping on the roof, so I hope thy succeed this year. |

I saw a pigeon get hit by a bus and fall to the street still alive . A few moments later a crow swooped down and flew off with him in his beak . I don't think he was taking him to get help |

You're such a pessimist. They are besties and he was clearly taking him to Dr. Doolittle.
Or to look at a pic of Uncle Jesse's hair. |

Last weekend I saw the first ducklings this summer, there were seven of them.
The local owls are getting around now, stopping traffic and peeping in sometimes. There's no telling where they'll be next. Here's a video taken from somebody's office window (I wish it was my office!)

They're both mammals, right? What kind of a cat have you got? |

Saw a fieldfare flying in sync with the tram today, for a long time it was flying on my level on the other side of the road. Funny thing. |

Over the weekend I managed to see and hear two nightingales. They're such elusive little creatures, that seeing them sing is pretty rare (at least here). NIce private concert ;^) |

One of the young eagle owls was found dead last weekend. The autopsy revealed a raptured liver; it had most likely hit something (car, maybe?). |
