I think we should get jobs at Topshop and have wacky adventures. It could be a sitcom.

Megg and I get to be real life friends! Unless of course you decide you don't like me. Then I will leave you alone.

oh my, two boardies moving to London at the same time - will the city survive this?

amazing news!!

a friend of mine is moving to London next year, too, but she wants to find a job first and then make the move (she says she's not keen on living in a cupboard-sized room ;D [so she needs a job first to be able to pay for a broom-closet-sized one])

so, have you two found jobs already?

I dont know what day Ive leaving yet, so I can't really start applying. Although I will start browsing soon. I dont know that I will seriously look until just before I go. I think it would be hard to really apply until I'm there.

Megg, do you know where you are staying?

I don't have a job either. I want to start searching properly after the New Year.

At the beginning (1-2 weeks) I'm staying with 2 friends (hopefully they won't change their mind!). Afterwards I'm going to have to find something. How about you?

Im staying with family friends of my friend that Im going with. At least for the first bit. It might turn into long term and we pay them rent, although I would prefer to find a place. But I know how expensive London is. Taking it all as it comes...

I told me boss about 15 minutes ago! She was actually really happy for me, which is nice. She moved from Scotland to Canada when she was in her early 20s, so she gets it. She was all teary eyed. Oh jeez, it was rough. But Im glad it's done.
