That's a very good support slot for Fran to nab, I imagine the venues are big and the audience will be pretty receptive, especially if it's just him and an acoustic. I like Keane, they've pushed themselves genrewise, but whichever one they're trying out you're guaranteed good tunes. |

Just listened to Keane's new album/ep/whatever it is... I'm not sure if I like the direction they're taking... I like their first album, it has some catchy pop-tunes. I don't think Keane has what it takes to pull this genre-change off and it's a bit too much 80's-sound for me to bear with. Don't get me wrong I like some music from the 80's, but not this kind of music :P |

I agree that their recent stuff isn't as good as the old stuff. I don't like the 80s thing they have going on. |
