Yes, absolutely. :)
But why would you think that? Fran said he's writing already. |

I'm not thinking that they will quit, I'm just a bit anxious. All great bands has to quit at some point and this is MY favourite band of ALL TIME...I know he's writing right now, but you never know what happens you know.
Well I should stop worrying about the future I guess, we have 6 more albums to go, at least... |

May I quote a line from Almost Famous?
Dennis Hope: "If you think Mick Jagger will still be out there trying to be a rock star at age fifty, then you are sadly, sadly mistaken." :P
They have a long road ahead. I can totally see them growing old with us :) |

Well... McCartney is still performing..
so stop wondering! And just enjoy the moment. I don't think they'll stop - unless they're not friends anymore - which I truely doubt will happen.
So I guess they'll still be there - maybe in some other way - since they've all got family..but still...filling us with joy |

The Beatles is almost as good as Travis, so I guess we can stop worrying! :) |

I'm sure they'll take breaks from time to time but i'm also sure we'll have Travis with us for many years to come. 10 years is a long time away, but i've been posting here for over 4 years and some people a lot longer than that. Though i have to say, the boardies we have now are a lot nicer than those of 4 years ago! ;) :P |

Hopefully. Only death could make me stop coming here, so I really hope I won't be dead in the next 10 years time :oP. But who knows... For now I'm just enjoying the present moment :o). |

Time exists but just on your wrists
So don't panic
Moments last and lifetimes are lost in a day
So wind your watches down, please
'cos there is no time to lose
And I'm going to stay here
Indefinitely

I've joined the board just a few months ago but Travis has been in my life for the last 10 years so even if I can't predict what the future will bring I can be positive about one thing: not much will change.
I'll be older, wiser - one can only hope - and still be listening to Travis (the soundtrack of my life, have already filled my music library with classics and that can't be erased, will be with me until my final days - so tragic!)
No matter if they are 50 or if I'm 50 for that matter, a new record release always brings with it this urge to find out what they have in store for us.
Only because I've never been let down, I think I better stick around.
I'm looking forward to introduce my children to The Man Who ;)
Alex, I already have :-P ......... and they love it! |

Haha I don't wanna know what was going 4 years ago..
But I HOPE they'll take a break from time time...So they can still have fun doing all this whilst having a privat life...otherwise :) well we've had this situation before a few years back..
Haha and yes, hate to say it :) but when I'm not here anymore I'm either dead or on the run :) But one way or the other, I'll always be enjoying their music somehow...somewhere :) |

You're right. They need to take breaks. But also i think they shouldn't get away from it as long as they did. They went 2 years without doing hardly any concerts. None at all for over 18 months. I hope they don't do that again.
Well said Nora, whatever happens i'll be listening to Travis for a very, very long time. :) |
