I think the volume level is a bit lower...but I heard that on those copies that have this click at the end of a song the volume's turned down even more - so I don't know..
I also think that there's something wrong with those copies where you can here a click at the end of a song or between them - but if they're from the same market or if there's gone something wrong with the production of it - I cannot tell.
You may want to go back to the store and ask...?
my copy is fine...I guess. The sound's different compared to the other Travis - records , but that's supposed to be. They way to record those songs has been different as well (4 track recorder etc. ?)...I like it, the way it is.
But if the quality of ur hard copy's worse then the the mp3 songs you should go back to the store and complain (maybe tell them, what information you gathered about this so far) |

Haha! :)
I hope you got it sorted Alex. It should sound really great! ;) Rougher and rawer than previous Travis albums which not everyone has liked but i think on the whole, it really works. Chinese Blues especially. |

I've e-mailed the store, hope they will respond soon =)
I really like the rawer side of Travis, but like I've said before the quality of my mp3's are much better than my physical copy of Ode.
I've discovered that the bass is almost non-existent too, it's just a blur. I have a subwoofer, so I'm used to enjoying Dougies basslines to the fullest ;)
Why are these bad copies on the market? :(
Edit: actually they are in wma-format. |

Maybe you should think about taking it back and getting a new one Bodi? :) You shouldn't have to put up with the annoying clicks and stuff. |

Oh. Maybe you're right. :( If you do come to England in the summer you could always try and find a new one. Maybe. :) |
