yeeeeesssss..."i still haven't found what i'm looking for" was used to teach the present perfect tense, i remember that!!! but i wasn't as lucky as you...my teacher was fan of rick astley so we practised pronounciation with his songs..XP!!! |

Bah, my English teacher used to put us songs like:
My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion
or
Please Don't Go - KC & The Sunshine Band
And the only person who appeared in my books, was Tony Hawk xD! |

That's great lol. Wish I had that when I was doing English! Well I still am at uni but I think uni would expect me to be reading something different to this lol.
And as for how the singer is feeling I guess they want pessimistic, unhappy, tired and unlucky but we all know if these kids know Travis and know about the pogo and have been to a gig they'll be writing energetic, happy, optimistic and lucky! |

That's amazing. And cool that the lyrics are part of the lesson. On a related note, I remember when my cousin had a school book with a pic of The Beatles in it that I'd never seen before. I kept asking her if I could have it and she always said no lol. |
